About Bozrah
The town of Bozrah was incorporated in 1786 and now has a population of 2,401 and an area of 20 square miles. Bozrah is unique in maintaining its rural charm while growing its commercial and industrial areas.
Bozrah is bordered by the City of Norwich and has a commercial growth area on State Route 82 into the city. Planning and zoning is in place to allow for growth in areas with easy access to highways and infrastructure. Most commercial and industrial areas are served by municipal water and the entire town is served by Bozrah Light and Power, an electric utility owned by the City of Groton. The selectman/town meeting form of government allows for easy access to developers and a speedy permit process. We have available development sites from a few acres to over 100 acres.
